Hanover/Stuttgart, March 6, 2025 — The partner network of the Hanoverian intralogistics software company SYNAOS continues to grow: With NODE Robotics, a leading provider of software for mobile robots with numerous well-known robot OEMs as customers, another innovative company complements SYNAOS' partner ecosystem. In a current end customer project from the automotive sector, the SYNAOS Intralogistics Platform is already controlling mobile robots in the “F” model series from the manufacturer Sherpa Mobile Robotics, which are equipped with NODE software, based on the VDA 5050. The Sherpa Model F underwent the nine-stage VDA 5050 onboarding from SYNAOS before the project.
“Our recently launched cooperation with NODE Robotics is a special milestone for us: The combination of robot-oriented NODE software and powerful control such as our SYNAOS Intralogistics Platform opens up completely new opportunities for flexibility and individual process control for companies' intralogistics,” says Dr. Philipp Schäfers, Head of Partner Management & Business Development at SYNAOS. “The onboarding of the Sherpa robot was the starting point for all future onboarding of other mobile robot types that rely on Node.move as proprietary navigation software. Further onboardings of robots with NODE software have already been started and planned and are gradually being developed in our Mobile Robot Finder be found,” adds Dr. Philipp Schäfers.
NODE Robotics also sees the cooperation as an important step for the development of the industry: “Our NODE.move navigation solution is a central component of our NODE.OS software platform and was developed specifically to flexibly adapt to various applications. It supports different types of robots, hardware components, peripheral devices and software systems, for maximum compatibility and efficiency,” says Dr. Stefan Dörr-Laukien, CEO & Co-Founder of NODE Robotics. “A growing requirement is the integration of vendor-independent fleet managers and intralogistics platforms such as the SYNAOS Intralogistics Platform. Thanks to a software adapter, it is now available to our customers as standard in NODE.OS. ”
With the new partnership, SYNAOS is once again underlining its open platform approach: Companies can flexibly integrate and optimally control robots from different manufacturers and software solutions — for future-proof, scalable automation.
