SYNAOS, KUKA, Wiferion and AUMOVIO Robotic Solutions are combining their LogiMAT presence for next-generation mobile robotics—which can be experienced live on over 600 square meters at booth 8B61 in hall 8. In doing so, they are demonstrating how interoperability is becoming increasingly relevant in intralogistics.

Wiferion is the standard for inductive charging technology and reliably supplies the mobile robot fleet of the Interoperability Arena with energy.

Hanover/Stuttgart – Following its successful premiere in 2025, the Interoperability Arena will enter its next round at LogiMAT 2026 – bigger, more international, and more visible than ever before. Together, KUKA, Wiferion, AUMOVIO Robotic Solutions, and SYNAOS will once again bring the central topic of the future of intralogistics to the stage. From mobile robots to infrastructure and fleet control to planning, all aspects of the implementation and operation of mixed fleets will be covered in a practical manner at the two-story joint booth.

The heart of the Interoperability Arena is the driving area, where different robotics systems, manual vehicles, and infrastructure elements work together in live scenarios. The spectrum ranges from intersecting routes and autonomous transfers to loading and unloading processes, shared charging points, the interaction between mobile and stationary robots, and the integration of manual vehicles into automated traffic flows. At interactive terminals, visitors can trigger transport orders themselves and track how resources pursue their jobs and how the traffic situation adapts in real time.

“In the Interoperability Arena, we demonstrate in real time how flexible and scalable material flows should be today and what a difference a consistently interoperable system makes in real production and logistics environments,” explains Dr. Wolfgang Hackenberg, CEO and co-founder of SYNAOS. As manufacturer-independent orchestration software, the SYNAOS Intralogistics Platform connects all means of transport used via open standards such as VDA 5050. This gives end customers greater flexibility in their choice of hardware and allows them to scale fleets across locations and manufacturers as needed.

Other providers from the field of mobile robotics are grouped around the central driving area of the arena. Visitors can thus experience all levels of interoperability in one place: from hardware, planning, and control to IoT peripherals and a uniform charging infrastructure. In addition to industrial robots and AMRs from KUKA, AMRs from AUMOVIO Robotic Solutions, and inductive charging systems from Wiferion, vehicles from other selected manufacturers are also on display as showcase participants. Technology and integration partners from the fields of cloud computing, sensor technology, consulting, and project implementation are presenting complementary solutions, thereby illustrating the breadth of interoperable system landscapes.
